FOUNDER
John Bouffard, MBA
John Bouffard, Principal of Bouffard Associates, brings 20 years of direct management, business ownership, and consulting
experience to his specialties in leadership development, creating exceptional workplaces, and building highly effective nonprofit
organizations. Before founding his own company, John spent four years as a senior consultant with Great Place to Work Institute,
where the annual list of 100 Best Places to Work in America is created for Fortune magazine.
As a consultant, trainer, facilitator and executive coach, John has assessed companies, counseled senior executives on workforce
issues, trained managers and facilitated strategic planning to help transform businesses in numerous industries ranging from global
enterprises, to governmental and nonprofit organizations throughout the U.S. He has studied the workplace and leadership practices
of many of the nation’s best workplaces including Southwest Airlines, W.L. Gore & Associates, Charles Schwab, Patagonia, Synovus Financial, and Federal Express.
Formerly, John directed Haight Ashbury Free Medical Clinic and has worked extensively with community organizations. He has
served on the boards of the San Francisco Community Clinic Consortium and the Coaches Training Institute in Marin, where he
received advanced training in coaching. John is a trainer with Robinson & Associates’ Leadership in Action
program, has been an instructor and presenter for CompassPoint Nonprofit Services, and has taught at Sonoma State University.
John has studied Group Facilitation Skills at Community At Work, Facilitative Leadership with the Interaction Institute for
Social Change, Strategic Restructuring of Nonprofit Organizations with David La Piana, and Systems Thinking, through Innovation
Associates in Boston. He holds an MBA in Organizational Development from the University of California, Davis
and an undergraduate degree in communications from Emerson College in Boston. John resides in San Francisco.

Eileen Blumenthal, JD, Ed.M
Eileen Blumenthal specializes in nonprofit consulting and executive coaching, to which she brings
twelve years of experience working with nonprofit organizations as a senior manager and consultant.
Eileen practiced labor and employment law prior to founding her own firm, Rocket Science Coaching and Consulting.
Her consulting experience includes strategic organizational effectiveness, programmatic design and project management.
Her clients have included the Asian Pacific Islander Wellness Center, the California Pan-Ethnic Health Network, CompassPoint
Nonprofit Services, the Kaiser Family Foundation, the Packard Foundation, San Francisco State University, the San Francisco AIDS
Foundation, and the President’s Office at the University of California. Eileen is a faculty member and examiner for the
Coaches Training Institute where she received her coaching certification. She received a Bachelors degree from Bucknell University,
a Masters from Harvard University, Graduate School of Education, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of California,
Hastings College of the Law.

Elliott Brown
Elliott Brown specializes in measuring and improving customer and employee satisfaction. He helps organizations develop
and maintain a service-focused organizational culture as well as the internal processes necessary to support an exceptional
customer experience. Elliot’s services include the design and implementation of customer and employee surveys,
operational diagnostics and measurement systems, and remedial programs and developmental workshops. He has helped a wide
variety of organizations—for-profit and not-for-profit, public and private, service and manufacturing—better
understand and address the needs of their employees and customers. Among these are BRE Properties, Telecare Corp., Bank of
the West, the US Army Corps of Engineers, Las Vegas Valley Water District, the City of San Bruno, Crestwood Hospitals,
and the Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of Northern California.
Elliott’s 15 years of consulting experience is supported by 20 years of corporate experience, including senior
positions in service quality, training, organizational development and profit-center management for Citicorp/Citibank.
Elliott served as Chairman of the Advisory Board to the Organizational Leadership program at John F. Kennedy University,
and has spoken extensively on the subjects of corporate culture and customer service. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School
of the University of Pennsylvania.

Kevin Fong
Kevin Fong specializes in leadership development, strategic planning and team building. He is the founder
of Working in the Hyphen™ a consulting firm that utilizes Eastern traditions and philosophies along with
conventional management and leadership theories to design functional and harmonious organizational systems. Kevin draws
from his broad experience which includes work as a corporate buyer and a healthcare administrator. His unique facilitation
and coaching practice integrates leadership, strategy and teambuilding principles into harmonious organizational systems design.
His clients have included Nordstrom, the National Institutes of Health, the Tides Foundation, and the National Minority AIDS
Council. Kevin has work extensively with nonprofit boards of directors. Prior to creating his consulting practice, Kevin
was awarded a three-year fellowship from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, which enabled him to study community and citizen
leadership in East Africa, Brazil, Guatemala, Turkey, Central and Eastern Europe, and throughout the U.S. He has served on
numerous community and national boards, and has helped found several social service organizations. Kevin is a graduate of
the University of California.

Beverly Frahm
Beverly Frahm has over 20 years of corporate experience in human resources and organizational development.
Before founding her own company, Frahm Consulting Services, Bev served as vice president of human resources at two
large corporations, was a recruiter for a rapidly growing midsize company, and also worked as a product manager and
analyst on a human resource information system design team. Her extensive corporate experience also includes creating
a human resources department from the ground up, mergers and acquisitions, consolidations, restructuring, expansions,
and company relocations. Bev is highly skilled at designing full-scale human resource systems and customized
programs that take organizations to the next level. Her clients span a range of industries including insurance,
construction, transportation, services, and nonprofits. Bev holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration
from the University of Minnesota, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Organizational Psychology at
John F. Kennedy University.

Scott Ormerod, MBA
Human resources, strategic planning and marketing expert, Scott Ormerod brings over 20 years organizational
development, human resources and management experience to his training and consulting practice. He is founder and
principal of Leap Solutions, a management consulting firm located in Santa Rosa, CA. In his practice, Scott facilitates
creative, innovative solutions that enable clients to develop teams based upon values, vision, and mission. He is dedicated
to helping organizations develop their human assets in a way that incorporates individualism, diversity, and growth. Scott
has particular expertise in strategic restructuring and human resource systems design. His clients span many industries,
including technology, healthcare, utilities, research institutes, universities, small businesses, and nonprofits. Scott is
an adjunct faculty member for Pacific Union College in human resources and serves on a national committee with Make-A-Wish
Foundation of America. Last year Scott was one of 50 individuals honored world-wide for his nonprofit service by the Dalai Lama.

Kathleen Robinson, MBA
Kathleen Robinson specializes in leadership development and strategy consulting. She brings over 15
years experience to her training, coaching, and consulting practice. Kathleen is managing partner of Robinson &
Associates, a full-service organizational consulting and training firm. Kathleen leverages her corporate experience
and expertise in organization development and business management to help clients grow their leaders and their
businesses. Some of Kathleen’s clients have included Sybase, Genentech, PeopleSoft, Raley’s,
LSI Logic, Kaiser Permanente, and Coldwell Banker. She holds an MBA from St. Mary’s College and has completed
post-graduate work in counseling psychology at John F. Kennedy University.
